Abstract

The purposes of this study are to determine the stock on the UKM Ukho Bakery implementing the EOQ policy, to determine the optimal amount of wheat flour raw materials that must be provided at the Ukhro Bakery Factory with the EOQ method, to determine the amount minimum inventory (Safety Stock) at the Ukhro Bakery Factory to carry out re-ordering (Re-order Point). This research was conducted at UKM Ukhro Bakery from March 2021 August 2021. The types of data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. Sampling was done through wheat flour ordering data at UKM Ukhro Bakery in 2020. Determination of the data sample was by interviewing key informants. The results of the analysis are in the process of making bread at Ukhro Bakery consisting of the preparation of raw materials and the stages of stirring, printing, baking, and cooling. The total cost of the stock at UKM Ukhro Bakery is Rp. 1,971,510, while the total cost of inventory using the EOQ method is Rp. 335,830. Economical purchases using the EOQ method were obtained at 37,311 kg with an order frequency of 4 times while the company's policy of order is made 46 times so that the policy with the EOQ method is more optimal than the Ukhro Bakery policy.
