This study aims to examine the effect of capital structure, profitability and firm
size on firm value with managerial ownership as a moderating variable. The
population in this study were 179 companies listed on the Indonesia Stock
Exchange (IDX) on 2017 to 2019 period. The data collection method used was
purposive sampling with a sample of 40 companies.
This study used multiple linear regression analysis, classic assumption test, and
absolute difference test. The data in this study were obtained from financial
reports and company annual reports available in Indonesia Stock Exchange for
the period of 2017-2019, the results showed that capital structure had a positive
and significant effect on firm value, profitability has a positive and significant
effect on firm value, company size has a negative effect. and not significant to firm
value, managerial ownership has a negative and not significant effect on the
relationship between capital structure and firm value, managerial ownership has
a positive and not significant effect on the relationship between profitability and
firm value, and managerial ownership has a negative and not significant effect on
the size relationship. company with firm value
