Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of intellectual capital, environmental performance, size and age of the board of directors on company performance as proxied by social performance in Islamic banking companies registered with Bank Indonesia / the Financial Services Authority in 2008-2019. The sampling technique used was purposive technique with pooled unbalance sample in order to obtain a sample of 14 companies with 130 observations. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the SPSS program. The results of this study indicate that the intellectual capital variable and the size of the board of directors have no effect on company performance, while the environmental performance variable and board age variables have a positive effect on company performance.
