Abstract

This study aimed to examine the effect of the board of commissioners, independent commissioners, audit committee, and the complexity on the audit fee. This study used secondary data derived from annual reports of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2016-2019. This study used a purposive sampling method based with the certain criteria and obtained 13 sample companies with 52 data. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Before the regression test is carried out, the data were tested using the classical assumption test. The results showed that the board of commissioners had no effect on audit fees,while independent commissioners, audit committee, and company complexity had positive effects on audit fees.
