The research was aimed to find out how students‟ confidence towards result of translating using electronic dictionary in translation class. This research used a survey method with 2 (two) instruments to collect data from research subject, they are questionnaire and interview. There were 72 students of 7th semester majoring in English Language Education Study Program at the Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto as the respondents and they were asked to fill out the questionnaire. Furthermore, 10 out of 72 students were chosen to be interviewed. The result obtained in this study showed that almost the entire respondents feel doubtful towards result of translating using electronic dictionary. Although with the advantages of an electronic dictionary which is effective and efficient for translating, sometimes the translation is invalid, especially in the terms of meaning and language structure.
