Abstract
Due to COVID-19 pandemic, direct learning has changed into remote learning. E-learning is one way that can be used during the pandemic. Thus, teacher's readiness in implementing E-learning is very important. This study aimed to determine the readiness of teachers to E-learning in elementary schools.
This was qualitative research using five ELR (E-learning readiness) factors, namely (1) human resources, (2) capabilities to technology, (3) self-development (4) innovation, and (5) the application of five factors are transferred into 15 questions for teachers, 8 questions for students, and 5 short questions for parents. The research was conducted at 6 elementary schools in East Purwokerto. Respondents in this study were teachers, students in grades IV and V, parents of students.
The results of the research showed that teachers from the 6 schools had a good level of readiness. The readiness of the schools was indicated by teachers who did self-development in E-learning. The school's readiness for technology and equipment showed that teachers already had adequate technology and used it for the E-learning process. The school's readiness for innovation showed that teachers had made learning innovations, turning direct learning into E-learning learning. School's readiness in implementing E-learning showed that not all teachers could implement E-learning, there were only 3 schools that could implement E-learning, while the rest of the schools used Whatsapp groupand Google form for the learning process.
