The purpose of this study was to find out: (1) total costs from the coconut sugar
industry, (2) total revenues and profits from the coconut sugar business, (3)
obstacle during processing coconut sugar, (4) the feasibility value of the coconut
sugar processing business. It was a descriptive study. The study samples of
craftsmen were taken by using a simple random sampling technique. There were
45 craftsmen as the respondents. While the samples of the tenders were taken by
using the snowball sampling technique. The data were collected b doing
observation, interview, and documentation. Based on the results of the study, it
can be seen that the coconut sugar industry in Pernasidi village, Cilongok subdistrict,
Banyumas regency showed that the average total cost of the coconut
sugar industry on the home-based business scale was Rp 946,48 per month. The
average income obtained from the household-scale coconut sugar industry was Rp
2,430,02 per month. Therefore, the average profit was Rp 1,443,54 per month.
The coconut sugar industry on the home-based business scale has been feasible
with an R/ C Ratio 1 of Rp 2,46. It meant that the coconut sugar industry was very
feasible.
