Abstract

The study aimed to determine the mangosteen seedlings trading system in Kamulyan Village, Tambak Subdistrict, Banyumas Regency, to discover the margin of mangosteen seedling trading in Kamulyan Subdistrict, Tambak Subdistrict, Banyumas Regency, to illustrate the Farmer Share of mangosteen seedlings in Kamulyan Subdistrict, Tambak Subdistrict, Banyumas Regency. The method implemented was a survey. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Descriptive quantitative analysis was used to determine the mangosteen seedlings trading system, discover the margins of mangosteen seed trading, present the Farmer Share of mangosteen seedlings trading. The results illustrated that mangosteen seedling farmers in Kamulyan Village, Tambak Subdistrict, Banyumas Regency generally sold seedlings through three trading types; farmer to consumer , farmer to merchant to retailer to consumers, and farmer to distributor to merchant to retailer to consumer. The biggest trading system margin was discovered in the trading system type III, which was Rp. 2000/stem, while the smallest trading system margin was in the type I. Farmer share in the trading system type I was the biggest.
