In the current era the use of computers carried out lately is used for data processing in the form of text, images, audio or video that can be done quickly and easily. But in fact, there are things where the files are deleted, formatted and lost from the storage media. As used in this study, using the flashdisk as a storage medium was tested. In restoring the lost file, a lot of software can be used. Among them are Puran File and Pandora Recovery as a digital forensic toolkit for data recovery scenarios. This research will discuss the comparison between the two software using the NIST method. The results of a comparison of the two software shows that both of them can work well. However, Pandora Recovery is better at restoring files perfectly compared to Puran File.
