The purpose of this research was to examine the role of profitability in mediating the effect of firm size, leverage and capital structure towards firm value. The object of this research in manufacturing companies which is listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data used are secondary data from the 2016-2019 annual financial statements. The collection technique in this research was purposive sampling while the data analysis techniques used in this research is multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The analysis results showed that the firm size has a positive and significant effect towards profitability, leverage has a negative and significant effect towards profitability, while capital structure has no significant effect toward profitability. Meanwhile the effect of firm size and profitability toward firm value has a positive and significant effect, while leverage and capital structure has no significant effect toward firm value. Profitability is able to mediate the effect of firm size and leverage towards firm value, but unable to mediate the effect of capital structure toward firm value.
