This research aimed to determine the correlation between the socio-economic
level of smoked fish traders and their interest in sending their children to school in
Sitanggal Village, Larangan Sub-district of Berebes Regency. The research method
used was survey research with qualitative and qualitative approaches. The population
in this study were smoked fish traders in the village amounting to 84 people. From 84
smoked fish traders, researchers took as many as 30 people through data processing
techniques, observing the results of analytical data. The results of the study obtained
the largest correlation coefficient of 0.558 means that there is a positive correlation
between the socio-economic level and the interest in sending the children to school.
