Abstract

This research is motivated because MI P2A Cendana is a madrasa that creates Religious Culture . One of the religious activities carried out in schools is congregational prayer, praying before studying, morning dhikr, tadarus Al-qur'an, tahfidz, and Islamic culture of clothing. This study aims to describe the role of PAI teachers in creating Religious Culture , the form of Religious Culture and the supporting and inhibiting factors in creating Religious Culture at MI P2A Cendana. To achieve these objectives, using a qualitative approach with the type of research descriptive method. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. The collected data is interpreted and analyzed by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are that there are three roles of PAI teachers in creating Religious Culture , namely the role of PAI teachers as mentors, the role of PAI teachers as role models, and the role of PAI teachers as motivators. The forms of Religious Culture implemented at MI P2A Cendana are congregational prayers, praying before studying, morning dhikr, tadarus Al-qur'an, tahfidz, and Islamic culture of clothing. The supporting factors are the cooperation of all school members, student activity, cooperation from parents, a supportive environment. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are when the initial habituation in Religious Culture activities begins .
