Abstract

Patikraja market is one of the tradisional market in District Banyumas with
busy activity where most hours is many vehicle used roadside to parking their
vehicle, so faltered effect to traffic flow. The purpose of this research is finding
parking needs and pattern. From this analysis was obtained parking characteristics
as flows : to off street parking, the highest volume for 9 hours or between 04.00
o’clock – 13.00 o’clock, the observation is motorcycle as much 876 vehicles. The
highest accumulation of motorcycle as much 100 vehicles/hours that happened
between 06.00 o’clock – 07.00 o’clock. Highest average parking time of
motorcycle as much 1.44 hours/vehicles. Highest parking capacity of motorcycle
as much 91 vehicles/hours. Highest parking index of low vehicles as much 4,0.
The number of parking needs in Patikraja market as much 244 SRP, for
motorcycle as much 130 SRP and low vehicle as much 14 SRP. Parking patterns
used for motorcycle every parking lot used 90° and for low vehicles used 90° and
30° because more efficient to maneuver in that parking lot.
