Abstract

Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto is the best Muhammadiyah college (PTM) in Central Java and ranks 6th in Indonesia. However, the need for parking spaces still becomes one of the problems of this campus although parking spaces have been provided in each faculty. It is found that there are still many vehicles parked on the roadside. The purpose of this study is to plan for increasing the available parking space capacity. The planning of the motorcycle parking building at Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto consists of 6 floors and can accommodate 650 SRP motorbikes. The parking structure is planned to use reinforced concrete construction with fc’ 22.5 Mpa concrete quality and fy 410 Mpa steel quality. The roof plate thickness of the concrete structure is 100 mm, the floor plate thickness is 120 mm, the plate thickness is 150 mm with 400 x 200 mm beam, beam 750 x 350, sloof 750 x 350, beam ring 500 x 300mm, square column 600 x 600mm. The point is this parking building is planned to meet the needs and to make motorbike riders feel comfortable
