Abstract
The crossing is the most important part of the road network system, generally controlled intersection capacity control the volume of traffic in the network system . The intersection of monument of the exhaust is the confluence of three directions, namely the North is JL. AW Sumarmo airport, to the East is JL. Panjaitan in the West and is the JL. In Panjaitan. So the need to research the analysis of degree of saturation. This research aims to know the capacity, degree of saturation, as well as solutions for the next 5 years. Methods this study surveyed traffic volume and analysis using Manual Indonesia road capacity (MKJI 1997). The research results obtained in the year 2019 DS = > 0.75 1.50 showed highly saturated conditions. shows the saturation condition, so it is done handling scenarios . Handling scenarios II by changing the junction signal is not being the junction signals with phase 2 with 65 seconds cycle time. Obtained the degree of saturation of the DS 0.45 < 0.75 unsaturated conditions. In the year 2024 with a cycle time is the same as the DS 2019 year competed in the Northern arm of the DS = > 0.75 0.95. So do Scenario III i.e. change cycle that was 65 seconds was changed to 80 minutes, so in the Northern segment of the DS to DS = < 0.65 0.75. For DS children in the year 2024 i.e. DS = 0.46 < 0.75. These scenarios can effectively lower the degree of Saturation (DS) at the intersection of monument of the exhaust.
