Abstract

Skin disease is one of the diseases that are still very dominant occurs in Indonesia. The most widely used drugs in dealing with the disease of skin preparations namely ointments topically. The region is easily contaminated microbial ointment because it is solid and half preparations already open from primary packaging. This research aims to know the physical stability and to find out if there are microbial impurities in the material of the savory semipadat Banyumas Regency pharmacies. The physical stability of the region the test is performed with the organoleptis ointment, its homogeneity test, power test, power test scatterplot latched onto, test the pH, viscosity and test. Microbial impurities is done by measuring the total plate numbers and figures mold kamir. The results indicate that salve the region unstable in storage showed any change on its homogeneity, the spread of power, power latched onto, pH, and viscosity. While the savory preparations there are microbial impurities and ointments don't meet the requirements.
