Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease that is still a global health problem. In
2015, the total number of TB cases in Banyumas Regency was 1126 cases, with
cases of TB children 0-14 years at 4.97% and there were deaths during treatment
totaling 0.70 per 100,000 population. As many as 30% -50% of cases of patient
noncompliance in receiving drugs are due to lack of education related to therapy,
and with this the pharmacist can provide counseling as a solution. This study aims
to compare the influence of pharmacist counseling on the willingness to pay
caregiver of pulmonary tuberculosis patients in GHS and NGHS in Banyumas
Regency. This type of observational analytic study with cross-sectional design
and data retrieval method by accidental sampling in GHS and NGHS Banyumas
Regency. A total of 29 caregivers as the study population, 14 (48.27%) GHS
respondents, and 15 (51.73%) NGHS respondents. To find out the value of WTP
respondents used the posttest questionnaire. The research data on the average
value of GHS respondents' PAPs is Rp. 30,500, - and the PAPs of NGHS
respondents are Rp. 43,500, - so it can be concluded that there are differences in
the value of caregiver WTPs towards counseling at both health care facilities. It
can be concluded that the provision of counseling in both different health care
facilities (GHS and NGHS) did not have an influence on the value of willingness
to pay caregiver.
