Abstract

Slow release fertilizer (SRF) is on of the method that use to increase the efficiency of nitrogen absorbtion. Slow release fertilizer (SRF) can be form by matrix layering. In this research srf was form by mixing between urea and zeolite fertilizer. Release kinetics that used in this area to devine the velocity release of slow release fertilizer are zero order, first order, higuchi and korsmeyer peppas. The solution of these methods is using the graph techniques to determine the determination coefficient. The aim of this research is to determine the effects of temperature and pH to the rate of discharge velocity and to study kinetical model of nitrogen discharge from SRF. The result shows that high temperature and acidic liguid can cause an increase in the discharge rate of urea fertilizer in water. The kinetical model that have highest R² is zero order model.
