Abstract

Management of infrastructure at the General Administration Bureau at Muhammadiyah University of Purwokerto is the loan of official cars. The system for borrowing BAU official cars still uses a web-based system. System that uses web-based applications, namely by inputting data on the BAU inventory lending system in the inventory lending book. Problems that exist in BAU can be used as a reference to develop applications to be based on Android. There are features that make it easier for users to determine which cars will be loaned for service. Then an Android mobile-based system must be made to facilitate the process of ordering official cars at the General Administration Bureau at Muhammadiyah University in Purwokerto. The purpose of this research is to develop an official car loan system of the General Administration Bureau at the Muhammadiyah Purwokerto University based on Android from the development of a web-based system. Web Service has high interopability and its use of data is accessed whenever and wherever as long as the machine is connected by the internet network one of them. A web service is a method of communication between two devices through a network. The benefit of this research is to speed up the process of borrowing car services to the academic community because it is based on Android mobile. The type of research used is development research with a waterfall model. The conclusion obtained from this study is the ease in the process of lending official cars to the UMP academic community through an integrated system between Borrowers, Drivers and BAU Admins, so that services will become faster and easier. The information presented in the system is complete to support official car loan activities.
