Abstract

As the development of the science of planning buildings in Indonesia, BSNI (Indonesian National Standards Board) published the latest building design standards and standard replaces the building planning previous building. Therefore it is necessary to evaluate the resilience of buildings using the latest regulatory standards. This research was conducted at the Postgraduate Building of Muhammadiyah University in Purwokerto which in its planning used the previous building planning standards (SNI 2847-2002 about Procedures for Planning Concrete Structures for Building, PUUDI-1982 about Reference Include the Indonesian Loading Regulations for buildings), with the aim of reviewing whether safe or unsafe results were obtained in the postgraduate building structure of Muhammadiyah University in Purwokerto. In evaluating the calculation of the structure of the Postgraduate Building in Muhammadiyah Purwokerto University, the guidelines used as a Reference Include the Indonesian Loading Regulations for buildings (PPIUG 1987), Minimum Load for Building Design and Other structures (SNI 1727: 2013), Procedures for Planning Concrete Structures for Building (SNI 2847:2013), Earthquake Resilience Planning Procedures for Building Buildings (SNI 03-1726-2012) using the help of software SAP2000 v.20to help calculate the structure. From the results of the SAP2000 v.20 review, 22 frames were experienced overstressed including 3 frame beams and 19 frame columns so that redesign was needed on structures that were overstressed. Then do redesign and the results of the redesign are controlled by manual calculation and the redesign results are safe.
