Sampang – Buntu national highway line consists of a road length of 8 km.
The Sampang-Buntu national road is a road that connects Banyumas Regency and
Cilacap Regency, which are the main roads that can be traversed faster to connect
the two districts. Accidents in 2013-2017 that occurred along the Sampang Buntu
National Highway reached 57 traffic accidents.
This research is needed to determine the characteristics of traffic accidentprone
areas on the Sampang-Buntu national road, determine the location of
accident-prone areas (black sites) and traffic accident areas (black spots) in the
area.
The results of the study of the road identified as a black site were very
high and had a Z-Score of 1.99. The highest point of black spot accident in the
first segment is the dead-end path of Adisana Village. It is known that stationing
identified as an accident-prone location is at Sta 1 + 400 with the highest cusum
value is 2.04..
