Abstract

This Final Project is the result of Field Practice conducted at Purbalingga Tap Water Company. The purpose of this Final Project is to find out and understand the cash receipt system from the new installations and the customer's bills. The data were collected through several methods like observation, documentation, and interview. From the observation, it can be concluded that Purbalingga Regional Water Company has applied the elements of accounting namely forms, journals, and transaction evidence in its cash receipt system that can facilitate the management of the company. Purbalingga Regional Water Company has also carried out several elements in its internal control since there is an organizational structure that separates functional responsibilities expressly and it is able to implement a good accounting system that can be useful for the supervision of the company assets.
