Abstract

The study was aimed at finding out civic culture, the inhibiting factors, and efforts
to provide solutions to legal awareness of traffic. This study used a qualitative
approach with descriptive method. The data were collected by doing interview,
observation, and documentation. The subjects of this study were the chairperson
of TKCI, deputy chairperson of KWBK, administrators of KWBK and TKCI as
well as their respective members. The data were analyzed by using data reduction,
data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this study indicate that: First,
the knowledge of civic culture has not had an impact and gave birth to awareness
or ethics in traffic, Second, the indifference of the vehicle community to traffic
regulations, hindering the development of an ideal civic culture, Third, the
socialization of traffic awareness is one of the efforts community, to strengthen
civic culture. So as to create a community that complies with traffic rules.
