The purpose of research is to examine Zakat Management strategy in Zakat Management Organizations in Banyumas Regency and to examine how the suitability of Zakat Management In Zakat Management Organizations in Banyumas Regency with the law No. 23 of 2011 concering zakat management.
This research is a type of field research, with a deductive theoretical model. Data collection methods by observation, interviews and documentation. This research was conducted in BAZNAS Banyumas Regency and LAZISMU Banyumas Regency.
The strategy carried out by BAZNAS Banyumas Regency is the socialization of citizens and state officials about the importance of zakat and BAZNAS role as zakat management organization. As well as several programs on poverty alleviation itself. BAZNAS collaborates directly with the local state civil apparatus to distribute zakat. While the strategy carried out by LAZISMU Banyumas Regency is to find and educate the public about the importance of zakat and the obligation of zakat through service offices in each branch and branch of Muhammadiyah in Banyumas Regency. The distribution process is carried out by each service office, this is intended to prevent funds mixing and make it easier for institutions to map existing programs.
