Generally, pharmacy distribution is dominant in urban area. It is
about 45-93.8% of pharmacy in the urban area. Usually it is placed in near
health service unit such as hospitals, service sectors, trade, transportation,
and major roads. The distance of the pharmacy gives effect to pharmaceutical
services. This research is aimed to know pharmacy profiles distribution
mapping, based on the analysis of the visualization appearance of
Geographic Information Systems (GIS), relationship between in Banyumas
Regency on the level of consumer visits and the number of prescriptions and
number of pharmacy need prediction. The result showed that the pharmacy
distribution in Banyumas Regency from the visualization appearance of GIS
is dominant in the urban area, it is around Purwokerto. The percentage
reaches 55% and the average distance is about 2.34 km2. Grouping pattern of
pharmacy distribution is on three sub-districts, it reaches 11.1%. Then, the
rest is the distribution in 24 sub-districts, it gets 88.9%. There is correlation
between average distance pharmacy and number of health service with
number of costumer visit, there is correlation between population density,
pharmacy density, and number of health service with number of prescription.
The number of pharmacy in Banyumas district is unfull filled yet.
