Abstract

This study aims to: 1) find out the effectiveness of biological agents of Beauveria bassiana to control rice bugs Leptocorisasa acuta thumb in rice plants, 2) find out the effect of Beauveria bassiana on the growth of rice yields. The method used in this study uses a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with a single factor namely Beauveria bassiana 5g / L application frequency, each treatment was repeated 6 times consisting of (F0): No Application (f1): One-time application (f2): Two times of applications (f3): Three times of application.
The results of this study show that three times the application of Beauveria bassiana increased the effectiveness of the rice bugs until it could kill them by 80-90%. The three times of the Beauveria bassiana Application produces the highest average amount of grain weight. This occurs because Beauveria bassiana has an effective mechanism in controlling rice pests so that it makes the growth of rice plants to the maximum because there is no damage or disturbance caused by rice bug pests.
