Kedunglimus irrigation area was located in Banyumas Regency. It was an
irrigation area which water extraction from Pelus River was used to irrigate the
paddy fields and meet the water needs. In the paddy fields of Merci Village, East
Purwokerto Subdistrict, Banyumas Regency there were plants from ordinary varieties
of paddy, included IR64 paddy. The height of water when during planting I reached
7.0 cm from the soil surface (Interview: Caksam, et al. 2020). This study aims to
analyse the optimization of the elevation of Kedunglimus irrigated paddy fields
during planting I. The method used in this study to compare the height of water
inundation needs with the height of inundation based on the secondary real discharge
channel. Then, the inundation height was presented after the inundation was
optimized. The study showed that the amount of the height inundation average based
on water requirements in MT I was 1,42 cm. Then, the height inundation average
based on the secondary real discharge channel in Balaikambang in MT I was 1,82
cm and Then, the height inundation average based on MT I optimization was 1,15 cm.
Last, the height inundation average based on the field (exsisting) in MT I was 4,50
cm.
