Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of human resource development on employee performance through work motivation as intervening variabels at kementerian pemuda dan olahraga Republik Indonesia. This research uses quantitative methods. The population in this study were civil servants with a sample of 150 respondents. The sampling technique in this study uses a purposive sampling method. The analytical tool used in this study is the validity test, reliability test, class assumption test, regression test, t test, F test and sobel test. The result of the analysis indicated that the development of human resources, employee performance, and work motivation simultaneously influence. The results of the partial analysis show that human resource development has a significant direct effect on work motivation, work motivation has a significant direct effect on employee performance, human resource development has a significant effect on employee performance. And the analysis shows that work motivation was able to mediate the development of human resources on performance
