Abstract

Electricity in the present is a primary need for the people of Indonesia. Therefore, the quality of good electrical energy must be fulfilled so that consumer needs are met. Variable load changes have an impact on system stability. If the mechanical power on the initial drive shaft does not immediately adjust to the amount of electrical power in the electric load, then the frequency and voltage will shift from the normal position, so that the load is released to anticipate this. In this study, the method of calculation analysis and simulation of the release of loading in the substation using software ETAP 12.6 to determine how long the transients that arise due to the release of the burden and cost of losses experienced by PLN due to interference with the feeder Kalibakal. Based on these results, the transient recovery voltage is obtained about 3 seconds after the release of one of the Kalibakal Substation power grids, then about 0.20 seconds during load release in feeders 11 and 14. Losses suffered by the PLN due to disturbances that cause load release during the month January to September 2018 in Kalibakal feeders around Rp.2.654,504,265.9
