Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of transformational leadership, competence and communication on employee performance at The Education Office in Banyumas District. This study uses quantitative research methods, nonprobability sampling methods, with data collection using saturated sampling techniques / survey. The population in this study were all Civil Servants (PNS) of The Education Office in Banyumas District. The number of research sample was 100 respondents. The research method used in this study is the validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple regression analysis, coefficient of determination, t test (partial) and F test (simultaneous). The results of the analysis show that partially transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, competence does not have a significant effect on employee performance and communication has a positive and significant effect on employee performance of The Education Office in Banyumas District. Furthermore, the results of the simultaneous analysis show that transformational leadership, competence, and communication have a significan impact on employee performance of The Education Office in Banyumas District.
