Abstract

The purpose of this research was to analyze the kinds of teachers’ oral feedback and find the English teacher’s strategies in EFL classes. This research was conducted at MTs Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. This research used descriptive qualitative approach, and the major instruments used were observation and interview. There were two English teachers that were involved as participants in this research. Based on the result of observation and interview of this study, there were two kinds used by the English teachers in EFL classes. They are corrective and evaluative oral feedback. The strategies used by the English teachers in EFL classes are: rewards and punishments, one minute papers, and discussion.
