Abstract

This research is aimed at investigating the full day school affects maturity of early childhood in TK Islam Terpadu Bina Citra Bangsa Purbalingga. The subject of the research was a group of students of TK IT Bina Citra Bangsa attending the full day school. They were aged beetwen 5 to 6.5 years old. This research applied the descriptive qualitative approach with the case study method. The data were collected through observations and interviews. The result of the research show that full day school system affects the social maturity of early childhood because external factors influence the social maturity in a greater amount. The full day school system leads the childern to conduct more activities at school. Those activity will become a habit they bring home. Finally, it becomes their daily habit, both at home and at school.
