Abstract

The aim of this research was to find out the effectiveness of Find Your Body Game to teach reading. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 1 Rembang in academic year 2012/ 2013. This research used experimental method. The total subject was 58 students of eleventh grades that were in control class and experimental class. In collecting data, the writer used tests as the instrument. The test was administrated twice. The first was pre-test, and the second was post-test. The form of the test was multiple-choice test. After getting the data, the writer used t-test computation to analyze the data. The method of the data analysis was quantitative. The result of the data analysis showed that the result of t-test was 2.396, while the ttable scores at the significant level = 0.05 for d.f (degree of freedom) = 56 was 2.00 So, the t-test value was higher than t-table (2.396 > 2.00). It means that the hypothesis which stated that Find Your Body Game is effective to teach reading at the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Rembang in academic year 2012/ 2013 was accepted.
