Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of career planning, job satisfaction, intrinsic motivation and transactional leadership to commitment continuants in PDAM Banyumas regency either partially or simultaneously. The method used in the sampling is purposive sampling, the sampling is based on the consideration to fit the study criteria in order to increase the accuracy of the sample. The criteria are the permanent employees who work at head office of PDAM Banyumas regency. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression and multiple linear regression test with the significant level (α) 0.05. The results of this study concluded that career planning is a positive influence on commitment continuants in PDAM Banyumas regency, with significant value of 0,045 is less than 0,05. Job satisfaction was not a significant positive effect on commitment continuants in PDAM Banyumas regency, with a significant value of 0,709 more than 0,05. Transactional Leadership significant negative effect on the commitment continuants in PDAM Banyumas regency, with significant value of 0,003 is less than 0,05. Intrinsic motivation is not significantly positive effect on commitment continuants, with a significant value of 0,296 more than 0,05. Career planning, job satisfaction, intrinsic motivation and transactional leadership simultaneous effect on commitment continuants in PDAM Banyumas regency, with a significant value of 0,009 is less than 0,05.
