Abstract

on the power grid, from generation, transmission, to distribution to the customer. Based on information from PT. PLN (Persero), most of the electric energy losses are found in the distribution network. Therefore the shrinkage in the network system needs to be taken into account more thoroughly. Depreciation becomes an important discussion at this time because it is related to the quality of power that will be delivered to the consumer as well as open the potential revenue for the Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) because losses that occur in the network will reduce the potential sales by PLN. In this final project is analyzed and effort of energy shrinkage improvement in one of the repeater in Unit Pelayanan Jaringan (UPJ) Purwokerto that is feeder Kalibakal 03 using ETAP 12.6.0 softwere. Based on the results of analysis and simulation by upgrading or changing the cable channel size, there is a loss of power loss from 33 kW to 17 kW. Meanwhile, losses energy losses from 3.09% to 2.8%. There was a decline from 19,198.08 kWh to 9,889.92 kWh. The magnitude of economic losses also decreased from Rp. 28.009.998,72 to Rp. 14,429,393,28.
