Abstract

This research aimed to figure out: the effect of soybean varieties and biological agents, and the interaction between varieties of soybean and use of biological agents toward its result growth and rust pathogenic intensity. It was planted on the soil media put on the polybag in Dukuhwaluh village, Kembaran sub-district of Banyumas regency with the land height of & plusmn; 85 m above the sea level, from January until March 2017. The research was conducted by using Complete Random Model with two factors. The first factor was soybean varieties consisted of Dena 1 (Den-1), Dena 2 (Den-2) and Baluran (Bal). The second factor was biological agents consisted of Kontrol (K = control), Corynebacterium sp. (C), and PGPR (P). Each combination of the treatment was repeated three times so that produced 27-unit plot of research. The result showed the treatment of soybean varieties gave real impact to the stalk diameter and the height of 100 seeds per-plant and did not give real impact to plant height variable, diameter of tajuk (upper parts of plants: leaves, stem, branches, etc), pods number per-plant, seeds number per-plant, seeds weight per-plant, fresh brangkasan (all plant parts except its seeds) weight, dry brangkasan weight and rust pathogenic intensity. Baluran variety showed the biggest stalk diameter, it was 8.09 mm and Dena 1 variety showed the heaviest seed of 100 seeds, it was 13.29 g. Biological agents gave real impact to the pods number per-plant. PGPR treatment produced the most pods number. It was 70.72 pods more than Corynebacterium sp (67 pods) and Control (59 pods). Both soybean varieties and the use of biological agents did not give real interaction to all variables.
