Abstract

This study aimed to describe Moral Reasoning of students in Madrasah Aliyah Raudlatul Huda in Adipala sub-district, Cilacap regency. Subjects in this study were all students of grade XI in Madrasah Aliyah Roudlatul Huda Adipala sub-district, Cilacap regency. The data amounted to 60. Analysis technique used in this research was a percentage technique obtained from SPSS program which provided description. The results of the descriptive test showed that 60 students, 12 of them or 20% have low moral reasoning, there were 34 students or 56.7% of medium category. There were 14 students or 23,3% with high category. Empathy of 60 students obtained the characteristics of learners based on low empathy dimensions amounted to 9 students (15%). Students who were categorized into the moderate category amounted to 29 students (48.3%) and categorized into the high category amounted to 22 students (36.7%) .The fairness concept of 60 learners has obtained the characteristics of learners based on the fairness dimension concept amounted to 16 students (26.7%). There were 44 students (73,3%), and none of them categorized as high category. The decision-making process of 60 students has obtained the characteristics of learners based on the dimensions of the decision-making process of 14 students (23.3%). There were 34 of students (56.7%) and high category (12%). Ego strength of 60 learners has obtained the characteristics of learners based on the dimension of low of ego strength of 12 learners (20%). Students who were categorized into moderate category amounted to 28 students (46.7%) and categorized into high category were 20 students (33.3%).
