Abstract

This research aimed to know the effectiveness of problem based learning toward the students achievement on mathematics viewed from multiple intelligence of the eleventh degree student of Tari class and Karawitan class of SMK 3 Banyumas. This research was an experiments research. The population of this research was the eleventh degree students of SMK N 3 Banyumas. The sample was Tari 1 students and Karawitan class student. The data collecting made use the instrument postest, the observation of teacher activities, the observation of student activities, questionnaire response to the student to learning Problem Base Learning, and questionnaire of multiple intellegence. This research results obtained that the achivments of students are better after using Problem Base Learning model, in additional that PBL model effectively applied to all student. It is evident from the effectiveness of learning that consists of the postest of the Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) the individual as well as the classical, the activities of teacher and students in a good category, the response of students in a good category. In addtional, 22,5% of students were in the interactive domain, 25% of student were in the analytic domain, 25% of students were in the introspective domain, 20% of student were in the interactive – analitic, and 7,5% in the interactive – introspective domain. From each domain, PBL was not affective in interactive and introspective domain. But, in the other domain, PBL was effective.
