Abstract

Bronchitis is a disease caused by viral and bacterial infections treatment used for bronchitis disease is antibiotics. This study aims to determine the level of resistance by bacteria identified and isolated from the sputum of patients with bronchitis against ciprofloxaxin antibiotic, cefixime, azitromyzin in hospitals Prof.Dr.Margono Soekkarjo Purwokerto. This study was included in the descriptive observational with cross sectional by taking accidental sampling as much as 7 samples . The results showed the bacteria identified are Klebsiella Pneunomia ,Streptococcus Pneunomia and ,Staphylococcus aureus. The result of the sensitivity of bacteria using methods kirby and bauer that in comparison with the Clinical and Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI). We use three types of antibiotics that cefixime, ciprofloxacin, axzitromicin The antibiotic ciprofloxacin results suspectible 71,4% of the bacteria Klebsiella Pneunomia ,Streptococcus Pneunomia and ,Staphylococcus aureus. Results resistant 28,5% Klebsiella Pneunomia ,Streptococcus Pneunomia and ,Staphylococcus aureus. Antibiotic resistant cefixime results 100 % to the bacteria Klebsiella Pneunomia ,Streptococcus Pneunomia and ,Staphylococcus aureus. Antibiotic azithromycin results intermediates 14.2% of the bacteria Klebsiella pneumonia, Streptococcus pneumonia and, Staphylococcus aureus and results of 85.7% to the bacteria resistant Klebsiella pneumonia, Streptococcus pneumonia and, Staphylococcus aureus. The antibiotic ciprofloxacin showed that effectiveness is good for treating bronchitis.
