Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara self -efficacy dengan father involvement pada ayah yang memiliki anak disabilitas rungu di SLB B Yakut Purwokerto. Subjek pada penelitian ini 70 ayah yang memiliki anak dis abilitas rungu di SLB B Yakut Purwokerto . M etode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala self -efficacy koefisien validitas bergerak dari dari 0,313 sampai 0,769 dan skala father involvment koefisien validitas bergerak dari 0,331 sampai 0,789 . U ji reliabilitas Alpha Cronbact . Hasil uji realibilitas skala self - efficacy realibilitas sebesar 0,929 dan skala father involvement reliabilitas sebesar 0,905 Berdasarkan hasil analisis menggunakan uji korelasi prodact moment diperoleh nilai r xy 0,634 de ngan koefisien P = 0,000. Maka hipotesisis diterima yaitu terdapat hubungan yang positif dan sangat signifikan antara self -efficacay dengan father involvement pada ayah yang memiliki anak disabilitas r ungu di SLB B Yakut Purwokerto. Sumbangan efektif varia bel Self -efficacy terhadap fathers involvement ditunjukkan dengan R square sebesar 0,402 atau sebesar 40,2%, masih ada 59,8% faktor lain yang mempengaruhi father involvement yang tidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini
