Abstract

This study aims to know these things or reasons to choose modes of bus passengers and travel executive class, and also to identify opportunities passengers in choosing both modes. The variables used in this study is the cost, travel time, schedule, convenience, waiting time, and travel security. The method used is that a Stated Preference approach to deliver a statement in the options (option) in the form of a hypothesis to be rated by the respondents. While the binomial logit analysis is an analysis that is used to analyze and determine how much influence the independent variable. From the research, obtained the equation utility selection mode between buses and travel executives UBE-TE = 0.580+0.000X1-1,392X2-1,057X3-0,016X4-1,031X5- 0, 014X6. Where the opportunities executives respondents prefer bus as much as 55% because of travel costs and 44.9% of respondents chose travel executives because travel convenience.
