Abstract

This research aimed to investigate whether mathematic conceptual understanding ability of students who were taught using Missouri Mathematics Project with Firing Line strategy is better than students who were taught using Missouri Mathematics Project. The population of this research was all students of Class VIII SMP N 4 Sumbang. The sampling technique was cluster random sampling in order to get Experiment Group 1 and Experiment Group 2. The research result were gathered from post test on students' mathematic conceptual understanding. Based on the post test result, the mathematic conceptual undertsanding ability of students who were taught using Missouri Mathematics Project using Firing Line is better than students who were taught using Missouri Mathematics Project.
