Abstract

The purposes of this research are (1) investigate the general shape of plane figure’s incision with conicoid, (2) investigate the shape of plane figure’s incision with right circular cylinder, (3) obtain the graph sketch of the plane figure’s incision with right circular cylinder in R2. The steps in this research are to inspect the matters which is related to the three dimension space, and to transformate coordinate system in R2 and R3, to analyze the general shape of the plane figure’s incision with conicoid, to determine the cylinder’s incision shapes which is analogue with the plane figure’s incision with conicoid, to draw the cylinder’s incision graph using coordinat system transformation in R2. Based of the result of this research obtained that the shape of plane figure’s incision with conicoid is the shapes which form a part of conic. Cylinder’s incision when is elips, with is the angle between cylinder axis with normal vector plane. The spesific case occured when that the incision is circle. Two paralel lines and two coincide lines occured when .
