Abstract

The research, entitled Study of presupposition Food Advertising on Six Television Station aims to describe the presuppositions of food advertising on six television stations. This study used a qualitative descriptive method. The data in this research is a food advertisement which amounts to 30 advertising. Sources of data from this research are six television stations (RCTI, SCTV, Indosiar, Global TV, ANTV, and Trans7). Procedures providing the data used in this research is the method consider. Consider Methods include: (1) basic techniques: tapping techniques, (2) advanced techniques such as: (a) consider techniques involved are non-proficient, (b) recording techniques, and (c) technical note. In the analysis of the data in this study using the pragmatic frontier. Presuppositions in the research of food advertising on six television stations produce (1) The forms of presupposition that form presuppositions the semantic and pragmatic presuppositions. (2) Various kinds of presuppositions that a presupposition that states the specified image as much as 6 ads, Word Verba Presupposition that Reality Contains as many as 3 advertising, Word Verba Implicated Presupposition as much as 1 advertising, Presupposition Word Times as much as 2 advertising, Presupposition Sentences there is Topic or The Focus as much as 17 advertising, and Presupposition Question as much as 1 advertising.
