Abstract

This research was aimed at finding out the teachers’ perception on task-based language teaching and learning. A sample of 27 English teachers participated in this research. A questionnaire was used to examine the perceptions of English teachers towards TBLT. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and the results were categorized into positive and negative perception. The results of the research showed that the final mean score of teachers’ perception on TBLT achieved 3.05 and it indicated as positive perception. Thus, it can be concluded that teachers have a polite perception on TBLT.
