Abstract

The objectives of this study was to determine the effectiveness of creative productive learning model toward ability of understanding of students in grade xi at sma ajibarang in academic year 2016/2017. The method used in this study was a quasi-experimental design. The population in this study was all students in the grade of xi mia at sman ajibarang and the sample was taken by using random cluster sampling technique. Objectsof this research were the students in grade of xi mia 3 (control grousp) and xi mia 5 (experimental group). Activities done in this study were observing, analising, differentiating, connecting, concluding, communicating, and presenting. Data was analyzed by using pearson product moment correlation an t test. The result of correlation test showed a significant relation between students activities and marks (ost test) and between their activities and activities with various levels of category. That of independent-sample t test of the experimental and control class also showed significant result. As the conclusion, creative-productive learning model has delivered positive effect toward the ability of understanding of students in the grade of xi mia at sman ajibarang.
